About Me

I have been writing most of my life – in one form or another.

When I was young, I kept a journal, and while I don’t journal like I used to, there are always life moments – big and small, good and bad – that inspire me to write.

Early in my career, I discovered television production, which led me to screenwriting. Together with various writing partners, I wrote a number of short films and then, finally, a full-length feature script. That script still sits on a shelf…I hope that one day in the near future we’ll be able to dust it off and put it into production. And I keep all of those life moments simmering on the back burner, because, although I haven’t touched a script in nearly a decade, I know there will be a time for the stories to be told.

For the last 10 years, my writing has been largely in the news field – beginning as a staff writer and now as editor-in-chief for a monthly community newspaper in the Greater Phoenix area of Arizona. It’s a field that I have come to love and one that I hope to continue to grow in – one that is constantly evolving as we become more and more interconnected through technology.

My love of writing stems from a love of reading, and of books in general. (Bookstores are dangerous places for me!) The drive to create has recently brought together these two passions and I have worked with a number of self-published authors to help them bring their literary works into being – whether it is complete editing, writing, design and layout, or simply typing a manuscript to send to a publisher, it is thrilling for me to be a part of the action.

I don’t know where I will find my next creative outlet, but I do know that I want to share my skills and creativity. So whether you need copy written, your manuscript edited or assistance with book design and layout, I can provide fresh, elegant results – on time and on budget. Let’s talk!
